Communication Arts: 4/25 - 4/29

In CA we are starting Battle of the Brains. Students create a team or work individually to read an article and answer questions about it. Each day they "battle" another team within the class using a bracket system. Within their block, students are competing to earn the title of Battle of the Brains Winners and amongst the blocks to crown the overall winner and earn other small prizes. In addition to this awesome event, students will complete a variety of other learning activities as outlined below.

Monday: Weekly Reading Evidence (WRE) Paragraph Final and Group Poetry Analysis Presentations
Tuesday: Poetry Types and Exploration
Wednesday: Run-Ons and Fragments
Thursday: WRE Draft and Peer Edit Tasks and Exquisite Corpse Poetry
