Pittner - 8th Grade Science September 26th

Chemistry Assessment on Monday! - Our Chemistry Assessment will be worth 4 separate grades in the grade book. If you have time Sunday evening, encourage your student to review his or her notes!

This week we will be moving into our next unit on Weather and Climate. Students will be collecting data daily throughout the unit - please check in with your student often to make sure they are staying up to date on collecting this data!

8th Grade Science - Pittner

This week we will be finishing up our Chemistry unit. Students do not have a quiz this week, but will take the Final Chemistry Assessment on Monday, September 26th.

Chemistry Quizzes - There were two  quizzes given during the Chemistry Unit. Please talk to your student about their quizzes and encourage them to make corrections and do a retake if necessary.

If your student is confused, please have them set up a time with Ms. Pittner to meet. As we near the end of the chemistry unit a lot of the earlier concepts are building on each other - this can be confusing. A great way for your student to stay on track is to copy down the notes in class - students can use their notes on tests and quizzes so this skill is a great asset!
