There is no assessment planned this week for Spanish I, but there will be one next week! Keep encouraging students to study and look over their notes outside of class so that they're well prepared for next week's assessment.

Esta semana en español (Week of 11/6)

¡Hola!

This week Spanish 1 students are starting a new unit! This third unit continues our "school" theme, but transitions from talking about school subjects and school schedules to talking about the classroom itself. Students will learn typical school items and location phrases in Spanish and we will be introducing new verbs that are important in the language (estar and hay, for example).

Students will be focused this week on learning the new vocabulary and practicing with it so we can apply it to more complicated activities in the near future.
