Students will continue to work on character traits in their choice reading novels. On Monday, they will submit a journal entry for grading. On Tuesday, students will be completing a Flipgrid discussion on the main character in their novel.

Science 8 - Week of 10/29
Final grades have been updated for all students on Infinite Campus. There are minimal graded assignments left this week so posted grades are not likely to change - students still have time to make corrections this week if they are not happy with their final grades. Ms. Pittner is available Monday and Tuesday after school to help with missing work or corrections.

Reminder - Devil's Lake Field Trip Tomorrow
Hello - This is just a reminder that the field trip to Devil's Lake for all 8th grade students is happening tomorrow, Wednesday October 3. Students need to be prepared to be on their feet and moving for most of the day. There will be uphill and downhill hiking for a portion of the day. Please check the list below of things that your student MUST have with them tomorrow so that they are prepared for the trip:
- Gym/Hiking Shoes - due to the nature of the hike, students will not be able to board the bus with out having gym shoes or hiking/rain boots with grip on the bottom
- Bag lunch (students who ordered a bag lunch from school can pick up their lunch during nutrition break)
- Water
- Backpack or drawstring/cinch bag
- Pencil
Recommended Items Include:
- Poncho/Rain Coat
- Extra Sweatshirt/Coat
- Sunscreen
- Extra dry shoes to change into on the bus
