Esta semana en español (Week of 11/13)

This week students in Spanish I are continuing their work with our new unit. Students will be learning a new set of conjugations on Tuesday/Wednesday and will be working on their listening skills in Spanish towards the end of the week.

There is no assessment planned this week for Spanish I, but there will be one next week! Keep encouraging students to study and look over their notes outside of class so that they're well prepared for next week's assessment.

Have a great week!

Esta semana en español (Week of 11/6)

¡Hola!

This week Spanish 1 students are starting a new unit! This third unit continues our "school" theme, but transitions from talking about school subjects and school schedules to talking about the classroom itself. Students will learn typical school items and location phrases in Spanish and we will be introducing new verbs that are important in the language (estar and hay, for example).

Students will be focused this week on learning the new vocabulary and practicing with it so we can apply it to more complicated activities in the near future.
