Pittner Science 12/19

This week in Ms. Pittner's science class we will be finishing up our short unit on Earth's changing climate. The focus of this unit is on the evidence and data to support that our climate is changing as well as ways to help mitigate the change. Students will be working on posters to organize what they have learned as well as propose different solutions. This project will in the grade book under standard 2 : "Applies scientific knowledge to investigate how humans impact systems." The students should have enough time to finish this project in class before break. For any specifics or details on what the project will entail, please send Ms. Pittner an email!

Pittner Science - Earth Science Assessment Tuesday!

Our Earth Science Assessment is scheduled for Tuesday (12/13)! A copy of the review sheet that will be given to students on Monday can be found here. This assessment will count as one grade toward Standard 3.

As we continue to move through Earth Science, our final assessment will be early next week - likely Tuesday depending on how quickly we move through the rest of the week. Our next unit will be on Climate. 

Quarter 2 Grades: Mid-quarter grades for science are now updated. (Note: If your student has turned in any late work or corrections recently, that effort may not be currently reflected. All work turned in on time is updated). As always, students are welcome to make corrections or re-do any assignment.
