Science 8 - Week of Feb 26

In Science 8 we've begun exploring why there are so many unique landscapes on Earth - the unit will end with a specific focus on why Wisconsin has the landscape that it does. For the first couple of weeks will be exploring Earth History via the Grand Canyon, eventually having students apply the ideas they learn studying the Grand Canyon to similar process that have shaped our state. This week we'll be focusing on the processes of weathering and erosion with a check-in quiz on Thursday.

Science 8 - Test Friday Feb 16

This week in Science 8 we will be ending up our first unit on Space Systems and the Solar Eclipse. Many students in both Ms. Pittner's and Ms. Weckerly's class have struggled to finish assignments in class last week and into Monday of this week. Assignments not finished in class become homework and need to either be finished during I/E time or at home as homework. Please check with your student this week about making sure that they are finished with the following assignments from our first unit:
