Science 8 - Week of Feb 26

In Science 8 we've begun exploring why there are so many unique landscapes on Earth - the unit will end with a specific focus on why Wisconsin has the landscape that it does. For the first couple of weeks will be exploring Earth History via the Grand Canyon, eventually having students apply the ideas they learn studying the Grand Canyon to similar process that have shaped our state. This week we'll be focusing on the processes of weathering and erosion with a check-in quiz on Thursday

Monday- Erosion Day 1 (Weckerly Stream Table Questions due end of class)
Tuesday- Erosion Day 2 (Pittner Stream Table Questions due end of class)
Wednesday- Sedimentary Rocks
Thursday- Quiz (Correlated Rock Layers + Weathering)/Fossils Day 1
Friday- Fossils Day 2 (Fossil Questions due end of class)
